The Miami Heat are down 0-2 and are expected to be without two key starters as they look to Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.
In Game 1, Miami showed that they could hold their own by avoiding being steamrolled. The Heat lost by 18 points, with Jimmy Butler leading the way with 23 points and Kendrick Nunn with 18 points. For the Lakers, Anthony Davis scored 34 points and LeBron James had 25.
In Game 2, Miami stepped up their game a bit, narrowing down the score differential to a 10 point loss. Jimmy Butler got 25 points and Kelly Olynyk upped his game to end off with 24 points. With the Lakers, Anthony Davis had 33 points and LeBron James had 32.
Los Angeles has been dominant the first two games, outscoring and outrebounding Miami. The Lakers show little sign of slowing down with James and Davis leading the way, meaning they will most likely win the championships once more. However, only time will tell.
