The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl LV after finishing off a victory that surpassed many expectations. Dominating the Kansas City Chiefs 31 – 9, the Buccaneers won their second Super Bowl and became the first team to win the Super Bowl in their home stadium. Infamous quarterback Tom Brady secured his seventh Lombardi Trophy, two more than any other player in NFL history.
The Chiefs had a rough time in the first half and earned an incredible 95 penalty yards, another Super Bowl record. Most notable of the mishaps costing them the game being Tyreek Hill dropping a surefire touchdown, Travis Kelce dropping a would be first down and Mecole Hardman missing several passses because he was not paying attention. Overall, the Chiefs struggled to catch and complete a play, while Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski together dominated the Super Bowl again.
